CHAD ELIASON

mortgage broker

Chad has been working in the mortgage industry since 2007, becoming a licensed broker in 2008 and now is an independent member of the Quantus team since 2014. Entering the mortgage industry was a natural fit to use his Economics degree from University of Victoria.  Over the years Chad has helped countless clients achieve their diverse home ownership dreams.  Chad says that “helping people understand the complexity of mortgages and how they fit into their larger financial picture is very rewarding.”

Another aspect that enables Chad to help clients is his experience with municipal government. Chad has served on City Council since 2005 and was the youngest person ever elected in Salmon Arm. After almost a decade of experience, Chad is now serving his 5th term and has been a Board member  on over 30 committees including Chamber of Commerce, Airports and countless Non-Profits. When asked about why he is in politics, Chad stated, “working with the people to build a city is an amazing opportunity, you can really make a difference.”

In his spare time you can find him on the local mountain bike trails, volunteering or cheering for his still “cup free” Canucks.

“Owning a home is very exciting! Let me help you with the best advice so it is not overwhelming!”

CITY COUNCIL WORK

I am passionate about this community and am excited about 4 years on city council, so I can see my aspirations for Salmon Arm come to realization.  My enthusiasm has never waned as I continue to want to bring positive change to our community. I feel that another four years on council will give me the opportunity to support initiatives that uphold our economy, lifestyle and future endeavours. I would like to continue exploring all possibilities for the best future of Salmon Arm, a place where you can comfortably work, retire or raise a family.

To be the best you have to learn from the best. I try to bring the best ideas from other areas and industries back to our community. Well connected to higher levels of government, ensuring our issues are heard and funding options are explored.
